Privacy notice — business contacts

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This notice explains how Augmentics SCM OÜ uses the details of people we meet or contact in the course of our business: at trade fairs such as Fruit Attraction, through event platforms, and by email. It does not cover data our clients share with us when they use our product; that is governed by our agreement with each client.

Who we are

Augmentics SCM OÜ (registry code 17495750), Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia, is the controller of the data described here. For anything about your data, write to [email protected] .

What we collect and where it comes from

From you, when we talk. Your name, company, role, business email and phone number (usually from your business card), short notes of what we discussed, whether you agreed to a follow-up and in which form, and the date we met.

From public business sources, before we meet. If we contacted you before an event, we found your company and its published contact details in the event's exhibitor catalogue, on the organiser's meeting platform, or on a professional network such as LinkedIn. We use these only to propose a meeting.

We do not collect sensitive data, and we do not buy contact lists.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We weigh our interest against yours: the data is limited to ordinary business contact details, you would expect a follow-up after speaking with us, and you can stop it at any time.

PurposeLegal basis
Keeping a record of our conversation and following it up — a reply, a meeting, the material you asked forOur legitimate interest in continuing a business conversation you took part in (GDPR Art 6(1)(f))
Sending you commercial emails after an eventYour agreement, given when we met (GDPR Art 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time
Proposing a meeting to a company listed as an exhibitorOur legitimate interest in meeting businesses that chose to exhibit (GDPR Art 6(1)(f))
Keeping a record of what you agreed to and of any objection, so we respect itOur legitimate interest in being able to show we followed your choice (GDPR Art 6(1)(f))

The personal link in our follow-up email

A follow-up email may contain a link that is personal to you and opens a recorded example of our product. Nothing runs on that page and nothing you do there is stored — we do not record whether or when the link is opened.

Who sees it

Our founders. We store it with the providers we use to run the company — email and a shared contact sheet (Google Workspace) and the host of the page behind the personal link — who process it only on our instructions. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area; where it does, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Until the conversation ends, and no later than six months after the event where we met — unless it turns into a business relationship, in which case we keep what that relationship needs for as long as it lasts. A note that you objected or withdrew your agreement is kept for as long as we need it to respect your choice.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to its use, or ask for it in a portable format. You can object to marketing at any time, without giving a reason, and we will stop — reply to any email from us or write to [email protected] . Withdrawing your agreement does not affect what we did before.

If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee ) or to the supervisory authority where you live or work — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos ( www.aepd.es ).

Automated decisions

We make no automated decisions about you and do not profile you.

If we change this notice, the date at the top changes with it.
